Type:	Robust Marine Grade Aluminium Amphibious coastal landing craft / Class IV / 48 passengers (bus passenger number) / Light cargo aluminium vessel. The vessel may also be licensed for passenger plus light cargo / livestock.
Built:	2009. Designed by Dutch Naval Architect Hugo Van Der Zwan and built by Arklow Marine Services Ltd., Co. Wicklow, Ireland. The vessel has 6 sealed compartments under deck and a high freeboard. A robust and high specification coastal / river vessel. It was based on a "Larc" vessel, which can drive up on hard mud/sand/gravel. This Larc type design was developed by US Navy and was further developed in France and is used for commercial shellfish and tourism.

Engine room:	PERKINS Diesel, type 1106D-E66TA main engine, 121 kW @ 2200 rpm. (it only has 1500 hours on engine and ran weekly). Economical 15 litres/hour. High specification hydraulically driven wheels / propeller. It has a differential lock giving high traction. There is no external exhaust going into the water and the engine is air cooled which benefits the environment.
Cargo capacity:	The vessel has a stability book that allows it for the carriage of-: (1) Up to a maximum of fifty (50) persons and no cargos, as a CLASS IV PASSENGER SHIP, engaged only on voyages in partially smooth waters, or voyages in smooth and partially smooth waters or-: (2) Up to a maximum of fourteen (14) persons and up to a maximum of 2.7 ts of CARGO, as a CLASS P2 PASSENGER BOAT engaged only on voyages in partially smooth waters, or voyages in smooth and partially smooth waters, or-: (3) Up to a maximum on nine (9) persons and up to a maximum of 2.7 ts of LIVESTOCK, as a CLASS P2 PASSENGER BOAT engaged only on voyages in partially smooth waters, or voyages in smooth and partially smooth waters.
Misc:	There is a wheelchair friendly toilet onboard and has a storage for black water (toilet) onboard. Seats can be removed. Roof can be opened. The passenger area superstructure may be further opened out by light engineering. The vessel can be transported by road. The vessel cannot be used on streets as it is too wide 3.8 m (to give good sea stability).
