The vessel recently suffered a minor engine room fire; STB engine is currently being replaced (new engine, used manifolds and coolers) and the engine room is being refurbished where needed (insulation, wiring etc.). THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES WERE MADE IN December 2011/January 2012: - New propulsion system Volvo Penta D6-330 with VP IPS 450. - New multifunctional broadband Simrad G4 radar with 19" industry monitor. - 4 x 10 kW heater water air installed. - 1 x 10 kW Ebersprecher water heater with automatic control installed. - 1 x 3 kW Inverter/Charger 24-220 V installed. - Complete new 24 V battery banks installed. - New Simrad radar/chartplotter not wheelmarked (backup). - Upgraded Vingtor PA plant. - 1 x VHF Sailor RT-5022 GMDSS. - New Norselight remote controlled searchlights Xenon. - New interior throughout the vessel. - 3 x Viking 25 persons liferafts. - All rescue equipment upgraded to requirements. - Hull, superstructure renovated. - All windows replaced and welded up. - All surfaces sanded and examinated to reveal any de-lamination. - All notches and hull damages repaired. - New insulation in engine room.
